Gorgeous Bascetta Paper Stars
Add some elegance to your holiday decorations when you make these Gorgeous Bascetta Paper Stars! This intermediate Christmas craft is well worth the effort.
From the blogger: "These stars trend every Christmas since a few years already in this country. They are named after the founder of this technique, the Italian mathematician Paolo Bascetta, and look intimidating to make. But... looks can be deceiving. Actually, once you realize that you are repeating the same steps over and over, you will see that there is not that much to it. All it takes is 30 paper squares to make these, some time, and plenty of patience. No glue is necessary. They interlock, hold on their own, and are quite stable.
"At the beginning, you may need a couple of hours to make one of these. But once you get the hang of the technique, one can actually be made in under an hour."
