I love this candy cane candle idea and I would love to make it but I have a feeling it would not last very long in our house and I cant even blame kids I think it would be my partner who would be worse than any kid at robbing the candy canes!

How adorable are these candy cane candles? You could make a whole batch of these and use them as hostess gifts when someone comes to your party. I bet you could put them in the guest room too to make your company feel extra special when they come to stay with you for Christmas.

These are really charming Christmas decorations. A friend of mine made her's this year, but she used the stick type of candy cane, rather than the hooked ones. They laid much flatter to the container and were less likely to break. These also look lovely around flower vases for Christmas centrepieces (as long as you don't spill water on them! Lol)

Cute idea. You can make several of them and put them around the room. I can see two on the dining table in place of candle sticks. They are festive and cute and won't block your view at all. Add some greenery around the bottom for even more holiday look.

I think this a nice idea, but when you put it away you better pack this w/bubble wrap or the candy canes will break. Or just take them off & give the canes to the kids & make a new one for next year.
