Crochet Santa's Belly Ornament
It's fun to create homemade Christmas ornaments that make you chuckle, like this Crochet Santa's Belly Ornament. Even though the rest of Santa is missing, his jolly red belly and belt are infamous. It's not often you get to use your crochet skills to make this "bowl full of jelly" belly. Use glittery red yarn to give that belly some real pizazz. Make a belt out of a few strands of black yarn. Then use a little piece of gold or yellow scrapbooking paper to make the belt buckle to finish it off.

What an interesting and fun idea! I never thought of using Santa's belly for a craft other than maybe one with paper plates. This cute idea is excellent for decorating the tree. Have you tried making a garland with these? I think they would look cute mixed with some bells or stars as a focal point over a mantle or door.
