Brown Sheep Stratosphere Yarn

Brown Sheep Company, Inc. is a family owned and operated yarn spinning mill that produces high-quality U.S. products. Their most recent yarn line, Stratosphere, is my new favorite. 


Made of 100% superwash U.S. wool, this DK weight yarn is perfect for all kinds of projects. A soft, fine-grade wool is great for kids' knitting, durable garments and so much more. Fun handmade gifts would be great knitted or crocheted out of this yarn because of its easy washability. Fun dishcloths, scrubbies or even socks would turn out great with this yarn.


Stratosphere was inspired by the cloud-like softness and fun color palette of the Nebraska sky. This yarn line comes in bright solids and soft kettle-dyed color ways. Many of the colors were named after nature and Earth like solar, shooting star, altitude, sunrise and tree line. The colors that don't come in solids are twisted with two colors or shades, such as alpine glow; it's two shades of purple spun with white for a stunning product.
