Colorful Christmas Tree Tee

Materials:

• Tulip® Fashion Glitter® Apple Red Jewel
• Tulip® Fashion Glitter® Emerald Fine Jewel
• Tulip® Fashion Glitter® Pink Jewel
• Tulip® T-shirt Form
• Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint Diamond
• Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint Leaf Green
• Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint True Red
• Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint White
• Iron
• T-shirt – black – 100% cotton
• Scratch paper
• Paper towels
• White chalk– sharpened to a point
• Old craft paintbrush
• Permanent felt pen
• Pattern

Instructions:

1. Wash T-shirt without fabric softener sheets to remove sizing. Dry in dryer without dryer sheets and iron smooth.
    
2. Insert Fashion Form into shirt to prevent paint seepage.
    
3. Use permanent felt pen to trace over pattern. Flip over pattern – the lines should show through – then use chalk to lightly trace over lines.
    
4. Position pattern on shirt, hold in place with hand then run a finger over lines – transferring chalk to fabric. Remove pattern.
    
5. Test flow of True Red 3D Fashion Paint on paper towel, using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Outline far-left tree and then fill in with an even application of paint. Immediately pour Apple Red Jewel Glitter over wet paint. Set aside for about 10 minutes to let paint slightly dry.
    
6. Place scratch paper on work surface then carefully pour excess glitter from shirt onto scratch paper. Tap Fashion Form to remove as much as possible – not all will come off. The paint is still wet so be careful not to disturb it. The glitter can reused.
    
7. Outline and fill in far-right tree with Leaf Green then add Emerald Green Jewel Glitter. Set aside for about 10 minutes to let paint slightly dry. Repeat step of removing excess glitter.
    
8. Outline and fill in middle tree with Diamond Glitter 3D Fashion Paint. Sprinkle in with Pink Jewel Glitter. Set aside for about 10 minutes to let paint slightly dry. Repeat step of removing excess glitter.
    
9. Let paint thoroughly dry then use old brush to brush off any more excess glitter.
    
10. Test flow of White Slick 3D Fashion Paint on paper towel. Freehand designs within each tree as shown. Start with trunk then work from largest design at bottom largest to smallest at top. Add a dot of White at top of each trunk.
     
11. Add random dots of Diamond Glitter 3D Paint to remainder of shirt and top of each tree where shown. Let thoroughly dry.
