Whoa, I love this craft! I bet you could make this the centerpiece for your dessert table if you wanted, right? I can see making one of these for several holidays. I know on New Year's this would be cute with some plastic wine glasses filled with nuts, mints, or chocolates. You could put two of these at the door for holiday parties and serve them to guests as they walk in or let them choose for themselves.

I haven't made this stand yet, but I think that I will be giving it a try. It really would give a wow-factor to a holiday dessert table. I think if you planned ahead and saved your tins for the core portion, you could make this stand relatively cheaply. I also love the idea that you could change the theme of the stand just by altering the paper that you use to wrap it. Very cute! I've give it a go for sure.
