This Kitchen Christmas Angel is absolutely 100% adorable in my opinion!!! There are several things in it that I haven't done for awhile or never done at all and that's why I'm attracted to it. I've never aged fabric before. I also haven't done any hand stitching in quite some time. This angel is sooooo stinkin' cute! I love the way she looks so rustic which means I can probably get away without everything being really precise....more of a relaxing craft time!!! Thanks for sharing!

I have never attempted to make one of these but this is so cute that I have to give it a shot. I have the supplies I need so I just have to psych myself up and jump into it. Sewing is not one of my long suits. But this is something I can't ignore.

Can you use regular scissors to make the cuts if you do not have the pinking shears? I had an electric set, but they are not working. I don't have a handheld set. I like that you use a variety of techniques to create this angel, but I am not sure I have the skill to do all of them. The French knot is not something I am familiar with, and it kind of intimidates me.
