Years ago my L Ate husbnds mother gave us ornaments very similar to these that she brought from Czechoslovakia. They were make with real Czech glass beads. I always thought of making them myself but didn't know where or how to start. Now I have instructions. I can make them in my theme colors of crystal, white and red. Thank you for sharing this great idea.

My girls made these years ago as teacher gifts for Chirstmas. We went back for an open house years later and the girls droped in to see their past teachers. They came out of the classrooms so proud and excited to see all their teachers not only kept the snowflakes they used them to decorate in the classroom. The ones we made where with bigger beads and pipecleans and looked a lot like these.

I think these would be great to make in different Christmas colors to have ready for unsuspecting gifts that you always have to come up with during the Christmas season. They will be easy and quick to make up and keep.

its beautiful. you can customize it with what ever colors you want. ex: red and green, purples, pearls and crystals. Thanks for the idea.

This isn't really pretty to me. I like ornaments that look like Christmas, this definitely isn't!
