Materials:

  • 68” craft trim ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Scotch tape
  • Clasp
  • 2 jump rings

Instructions:

  1. At mid-point of craft trim, make an outline depicting a pair of “bunny ears” (i.e. two equal sized open loops).

  2. Lay the single strand in your right hand over the other loop. This strand is now in your left hand, fold under the left loop.

  3. With the 2nd single strand in your right hand, fold over the right loop.

  4. With the loop in your right hand, fold over the single strand also in your right hand.

  5. With the loop in your left hand, fold under the single strand and over the loop in your right hand and crossing over to your right.

  6. Take the single strand in your right hand and fold over the right loop.

  7. Take the single strand in your left hand and fold under the left loop and then cross over the right strand.

  8. Repeat, right over, left under then over cross until you reach the end of the loops.

  9. Thread single strand through loops to end the braiding and tie a knot.

  10. Open first jump ring.

  11. Attach first open jump ring to the loop at the closed end of your bracelet, add clasp and close jump ring.

  12. Open 2nd jump ring and attach other end of clasp and close.

  13. Thread 2nd jump ring to the open end and tie a knot to secure.

  14. Thread loose ends back underneath the bracelet and cut off the excess.

  15. You may need to use scotch tape before cutting to keep the craft trim from fraying.

  16. Optional: Add a charm on the bracelet.

Did you have any problems with the knots coming out different sizes? I always get things like this uneven, and I want it to come out right. I want to make one of these for every outfit I have because it is so cute. I want a bracelet for every day of the week, and every holiday. I can think of so many ways to use these cute bracelets.
