What family wouldn't love to have a cute decoration like this as a centerpiece for the holidays? I love ideas that are outside of the box and show family time like the old days when people go and cut their own tree for the home. I love this so much.

This centrepiece just screams vintage nostalgia! I love it. I think that it would look really cute if you placed a glass cloche over the top to create a snowglobe effect. I've seen these little fuller trees at the craft store and dollar store, so I know I can find them easily. It would be fun to have other little add-ins like deer or snowmen. You could make it a real little winter wonderland! You could even string those inexpensive battery operated twinkle lights for some sparkle!

Many thanks to who ever came up with this one. It is very nostalgic and I am going with an old time Christmas theme this year. I need to make a small change though. I grew up on a farm and dad always chopped our tree down. So I will take the people from my Christmas village, add a sled with the tree on it and make it look as if they are bringing it home from the woods.
