Washi Tape Snowflake Ornaments
"These snowflakes are really easy to make and require only craft sticks (popcicle sticks), washi tape, glue and a bead to top it off. They can be used to decorate the tree or both sides could be covered with washi tape and the snowflakes can then be hung in the window or used as package toppers for gifts. Red and white washi tape was used for the snowflakes here but the kids can use any colors they choose for their own."
Estimated CostUnder $10

NotesAdult supervision is advised. This project is intended for older kids who are able to use a low temperature glue gun, but the pieces can also be glued together with a strong tacky glue.

I can remember my children coming home from school or church Sunday school with these little popsicle stick snowflakes. This washi tape trick bumps it up a notch and make it a little more fancy. I think my twenty something sons will think this is hilarious to complete this for a fun activity.

This is a flip on the Popsicle snowflake that the kids come home with before the Winter holidays. Using the washi tape bumps it up a notch. Thank you for the idea.
