How fun and whimsical is your tree? I love that you chose to cut the wood and split the tree. I was thinking that I have a few scrap pieces of wood that I could cut to match this design or maybe I can find some that will line up close enough that I can cover them with garland and no one will ever know the difference if I decorate it just right. I think your idea is so fun!
