I have empty thread spools and scrap fabric so I do not know why I never thought of this. These festive spool ornaments are super adorable and could not be any easier to make. With some imagination you can truly create a masterpiece for the Christmas tree. You can recycle a lot of leftover things from your sewing stash. Let's all get to it and see what we come up with. Anyone in?

These are adorable. I recently made some wide some mini spools I found. I made them to look like real spools of thread. I even crafted a needle out of a toothpick! Why I just don't use acutal spools of threads & needles only another mignight crafter will understand!!!
