This would make a really nice decoration for the kitchen or dining room. If you put a clear bag in the oven mitt and drape it slightly over the top of the cuff, you can keep the mitt from being stained. If you use fake branches it wont matter though. Add a wooden spoon or two and a couple of candy canes and and it could make a nice gift or bazaar table item too.

I think I would call it a Christmas spray, and I would put it on the front door, but maybe without the oven mitt. Whatever you want to call it, it's a great way to greet people during the holiday season. It looks like it would be fairly simple to make, too!

I really like this idea. I have used different things, instead of wreaths on my door. Last year it was a big candy cane with deviations on it. This year it just maybe something like this. I also hang something on the inside of the door. It not only gives added pizzaz to the room, but it greets people as they leave.
