Crinkle Paper Wreath

Learn how to make a wreath with crafting essentials like paper and buttons, and in no time, you'll have a DIY Christmas decoration that will fit the spirit of the season perfectly. • Craft Components Adhesive Green Crinkle Paper
• Craft Components Hand Dyed Red Paper
• Craft Components Gold Metallic Fiber Paper
• Craft Components Fabric Cord – Red/Greens
• Craft Components Red/Green Buttons
• Flourishes and Holly sticker
• Red and Silver Adhesive Studs

• 1 inch Circle Medium Punch
• 1 3/4 inch - Large Circle Punch
Time to Complete: 1 hour
Skill Level: Intermediate
What to do:
Step 1: Wrap foam wreath in green adhesive paper.
Step 2: Use red cording and wrap around entire wreath spacing apart lines about 2”.
Step 3: Use gold paper to tie a bow for the top of the wreath leaving long tails to wrap around the backside of the wreath and adhere in place. Then tear additional segments (approx. 6x6”) to crumple and adhere in bunches at the bottom center of wreath.
Step 4: Cut 3 poinsettia shaped flowers out of red paper. Adhere flowers randomly on top of gold bunches.
Step 5: Add a button to center of flower and finish with a green rhinestone in the center.
Step 6: Adhere Flourishes and Holly stickers around the red Poinsettia flowers.
Step 7: Adhere red adhesive studs to accent the bottom of the wreath.

this was a project from yesterday...but it is also hot linked today? Don't know if its my computer...or the web...I commented yesterday....but today I can write my list of stuff to buy...because "its FRIDAY". And I have tomorrow off! I know I need to pick up the colored buttons for sure!

The crinkle paper wreath craft looks like it be fun to make different sizes, making smaller ones for place markers at a dinner table which could be taken home and put on the Christmas tree. Elegant yet easy!

When I was younger my mom used to make wreaths. I never learned how, but this looks like it would be a great first project. It looks very easy to make; are we sure that it's an intermediate skill level?
