DIY Deer Winter Wreath
"With this DIY Deer Winter Wreath as an example, you will learn how to come up with a design to DIY your Christmas wreath with what supplies you already have at hand. You will decide on a color scheme, get everything out in that scheme (I used olive, green, beige, champagne, natural elements) - I challenge you to be creative, I even used some felt coasters - and then you'll start building your design. I have put together a detailed photo and video tutorial for you to rock a frugal Christmas or Winter home decor project with me. Happy crafting!!"
Materials List
- wreath
- all sorts of nick knacks you have at home in your (craft) stash, e. g. mini Christmas ornaments, wooden cut outs, pine cones, ribbon, felt, coasters, cotton flowers, ...
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- craft wire
- wreath hanger (optional)
NotesI labeled this project easy even though it might not appear to be easy in the beginning as it is lacking precise directions as to "take this", "stick it here", and "your done".
I would love for people to dare to invoke their inner designer. Simply by not following any rules but the mere basic steps I've explained in detail in my post. Every person's taste is different, so naturally, every wreath that will be created following these basic design process steps will be wonderful. Maybe just to a handful of people...but that doesn't matter. It will be wonderful!
