Glittery Ribbon Wreath
"This gorgeous Christmas wreath has an airy and elegant appearance to it and is incredibly easy to make, as well. Glittery organza Christmas ribbon gives this wreath a touch of sparkle without looking so heavy. Otherwise you will need a wire ring, red wooden beads, some florist wire and a satin ribbon to hang the wreath. Once you have the ribbon cut into the necessary pieces, it is then quick to complete and ready to be used."

I am trying to figure out how to tie the ribbon on the ring and to make sure about the measurements for the strips. Can someone please help with this? Thank you.

Hello! Thank you for your comment! I added more written details to the written tutorial and hope that helps you. Place the first ribbon strip underneath the ring. Pull up the two ends and tie the ends just once onto the ring. The knot is located on the ring and the ends stand out. Add the next ribbon strips in the same manner and fluff up the ends as you go along. As you continue, push the knots together on the wreath. Because of the way the wreath is made, you will not see the knots. Continue adding ribbon until the entire wreath is covered. Because the ribbon is so wide, the strips are cut out about 2 centimeters (or a little short of an inch) wide. That way you have then a piece that is approximately 2 cm x 9 cm in size.

This craft looks very easy and fun to make. Do you ever get a bunch of glitter on your hands, or does it stay on the ribbon? I think this would look great for my daughter's dorm room door this holiday season. I bet she would love to rock this wreath.

The ribbon I used was really great. The glitter was well glued on it and as I was making the wreath, there was very little glitter falling off of it.
