I bet you could definitely use broken ones, as long as the face of it was OK. Some of the estate sales in my area are featuring vintage decorations and I Have some old bell shaped lights that no longer work but I can't bear to toss them, so this would be a great way to use them and keep, them in the family! In fact, I could see making several as a way to share grandma's vintage ornaments with family members who would appreciate the memories!

I love this idea! Did you use just old and new ornaments that were intact, or did you use some broken ones and just turn them to the glued surface? I think this idea would be great to recycle the ornaments that you love like traditional or heirloom ornaments that broke.
