What a great craft to do when you go to your Thanksgiving get together for the kids when they get bored. So simple for them to do and they can make it for a gift for mom,dad,friend teacher or any family member. Imagine the joy on their faces when they finish these felt winter bookmarks. I need to keep these supplies on hand for winter break too. A very inexpensive project but looks so cute and the kids can design it anyway they like. Great tutorial and so easy. Anyone use this project at school breaks?

This is so very cute. My sister collects snowmen. This would be a nice gift any time of year for her and other collectors. I think I would choose to make tiny blanket stitches around the snowman, hat and scarf. Do you think that would make the overall book mark too heavy? It would be cute to make a series of bookmarks with a snow person for each member of a family. A female snowman would have a fancier hat, perhaps a parasol, handbag and, or a shawl. The children may wear vests, a flower in the hair or other identifiers. Snow characters will never grow old. They will always be in style.
