Beautiful Holiday Tea Light Covers
From the blogger: "Candle light not only looks romantic, but adds warmth and light to any room. These covers are inexpensive, quickly made, and can be slipped over a small straight glass, whether it be a drinking glass or a small jar. These can be placed on a shelf or window sill and the light shines softly through the motif. These particular covers were made with winter scenes, but can also be made with other motifs for any other season of the year. You can also use LED tea lights to place within the glass if you are worried about using real tea lights."

How can candles get anymore beautiful? I love your idea for tea light covers. I never knew you could sew napkins or foil decorations. I only hand sew. Could I make this decoration that way or will the stitches be too loose? I have a ton of people that would love to get these candles as gifts.

Thank you! Sure, you can hand sew them instead of machine sewing. If you hand sew them, you could paper clip the front and back sides together and then poke holes at 1/4 inch intervals down both sides of the foil sheets to keep an even look. Then hand sew a straight line down each side using embroidery thread or sewing thread.
