I really love the movie A Christmas Story ... it is my absolute favorite Christmas film, so when I saw this homemade A Christmas Story DIY embroidery Hoop Ornament, I got very excited at the idea of making this for my tree. (I already have a light up 'leg lamp' ornament, so this will be a really fun addition to that theme. I have several sizes of hoops and all the materials at hand, so thanks so much for the idea and instructions! Another idea along that theme might be one of Randy in his snowsuit or one of the pink bunny outfit.

This is hysterical. I have got to make one of these for my son. We love this movie and the Fra-gee--lay has been one of the most comedic notes for us. This is such an easy pattern to embroider. If you don't know how to embroider there are small canvasses that would work great to do this as a tiny painting.

I love this so much! It's such a unique and fun idea. Also, fun fact, my father will watch this movie on repeat every year when TBS runs it for 24 hours.
