Homemade Winter Bird Food

"If you live in an often frozen location during winter, then the local garden birds will have a difficult time finding food. To help them out, we have experimented and came up with a winter mixture that they really love to eat. We first prepare it and fill the coconut halves and let them harden. Once hung out, all sorts of birds show up regularily to "dine". The food helps them survive and it is a joy for us watching them and seeing how many types of birds show up."
