Reindeer Footprint Holiday Craft

Instructions

1. First you need to place a piece of cardboard between the front and back of your shirt, and secure your clothing of choice so that it stays put.

2. Once you are secure mix your fabric paint and acrylic paint together.? Since I am just creating a few I mix as I go, but if I were doing many I would mix it together in a bottle.

3. If you are working with small children have lots of rags around for accidents my children are four and one.? Otherwise I prefer to paint directly onto the foot and palms.? It keeps the paint lines neater instead of blobs of paint showing up in unwanted areas.? Your first object will be the foot.? Then the hands on either side (you can also reverse the direction of your hands). However, if you have an uncooperative toddler just paint your own antlers as I did.

4. While you are waiting for the reindeer to dry add your Christmas lights to the antlers.? You will use your child’s fingers for these.

5. At this point I would add the finger prints for the eyes. ?Use your thumb and puff paint for your pupil.

6. I would add your wires for your Christmas lights.? Last add your nose with a red finger print (for Rudolph) then once it dries add a puff ball or gem.? I recommend sewing this on.
