Upcycled Paper Tube Santa Claus
When it comes to Santa crafts, it doesn't get much better than this Upcycled Paper Tube Santa Claus! This fun Christmas craft is kid-friendly. It's also a great way to upcycle common household items.
From the blogger: "Poor Santa! Mrs. Claus placed him on a diet this year and this is the result. You can make this tall and lanky Santa using an empty gift wrapping tube (something we automatically have enough of at Christmas time) and felt. Then simply add a few embellishments and he can be decorating some corner of your home while adding holiday cheer. A box side was used for the base (more recycling) so he will stand freely without falling over."

Who knew that you could turn Santa into a skinny man with toilet paper tubes? I think this craft is unique and fun. I will make my Santa a little thicker though because it just seems weird to have a skinny Santa. I like the yarn hair. He has a fun color scheme with the thin tube.

I too have a bunch of tubes saved up and now have a way to use them. They are all different sizes and widths. I can make any kind of Santa. Tall, short, fat and thin. They are easy to make so the grand kids can jump in and help make them.

I have a bunch of paper tubes saved in case I ever think of a way to craft with them. This is such a cute idea!
