December Snowman Hot Pad
From the Designer: "To make this frosty fella, you’ll need: the pattern from my blog, Insul-Bright batting, cotton batting, cotton fabric (4 colors, including white), fusible interfacing, black and orange felt, black and orange embroidery thread, and a bell, pom pom or tassel This hot pad is a fairly easy sewing project, perfect for almost any level of sewing skill, and adds a bit of winter cheer to your holiday table. This guy would also make a great mug mat gift for anyone who enjoys a hot beverage!"

This is such a good project for the holidays. You can also make them as gifts. I have a friend who decorates every inch of her house for the holidays and this would be perfect for her. I collect snowmen, Santas and Christmas trees for my holiday decorating so this will be perfect. It will be quick to work up. Anything I need I can get at my local fabric shop. Thank you.

This guy made me smile when I saw him. What a cutie. I like the idea of making it into a mug hat. It would keep my beverage warm while I am busy with something else. That's a cozy idea! Yes pun intended. Thank you for sharing this idea and inspiration!
