I was first 'introduced' to gel candles in the early 1970's. I really like the clear appearance of them. Even though I have used wax I never thought about making gel candles. I love the idea of adding in embellishments for extra dcor. There are so many possibilities and themes I can think of for this type of project. What a great way to use mementos picked up at the beach or vacation spot. What would you use?
