Cookie Cutter Christmas Ornaments
"Cookie cutters make wonderful ornaments for the tree, with just some buttons, ribbon roses, or beads. Simply take an old fashioned cookie cutter, and glue the items to it. Use white ribbon roses on a white angel ornament, or a selection of red and white buttons to create the stripes on a candy cane. Tree ornaments can be made with ribbon roses, buttons and beads. Step by step instructions are given, and lots of ideas to design your own creations."

Clever! I have tins and tubs of buttons, and so this gives me some more ways to use them! I think the angel cutter would be cute dipped in some white glitter past, or even just dabbed on here and there over the buttons! I had some vintage cookie cutters that are not open but have a handle cut into the tops. The Rudolph reindeer one I have would lend itself perfectly to this project!

So many people just leave the cookie cutters the same copper color that you usually see and that is that. I absolutely adore the fact that you changed the entire look by adding the buttons and ribbon to match the color of the cookie cutter. It seems so classy and pretty compared to the plain copper. Great idea!
