This is such a pretty project. I read the directions and it is such an easy one to follow that I have to make it. I have a little village on my mantle every Christmas so these will fit right in. I can make an entire forest of them for hardly any money.

I can't wait to give this tutorial a try! I love that you can make something so beautiful with some scraps that I already have laying around my craft room. I have seen similar decorations at craft stores and they were really expensive! I'm glad to know that I can pull off a similar look for a fraction of the price. I think that these will look lovely on a mantel piece.

You can make this project with materials you have around the house. This is easy to make and pretty decor for your home during the holiday season. I will make a bunch of these this summer to put around the house!

How sweet and definitely versatile! If I did these up with shades of green I can these add them to a miniature Christmas village scene. If I did these up in different sizes (three is always a good number for decorating) I could do them up in gold and silver and use them as a table center piece on white batting for the holidays. If I did them up to coordinate with a package wrapping I could even attach several to a gift.

Very neat idea and one my grand daughter can help with. If I know her, it will be in pink or purple or both. But that's the fun of doing it yourself. You can make it in any color you like. You can add things too. Like sewing tiny beads onto it to look like ornaments. I can see I am going to have fun with this one.

It isn't bad, but a different type of red to replace the white might make it really stand out. Also no topper. I put sea shells on mine I did for my sea shell theme. Then I found snowflakes I did for my egg plant theme. I am thinking of doing one in gold, where you put the two bottom both down a loop to the side vs up/down as I have done a couple of them. I want it for my gold theme for 2015 Christmas.
