Mixed-Media Christmas Trees
"If you take a look at these darling little mixed-media Christmas trees you wouldn't think that they were made from an old shoe box, right? But that is what the base is made off. Also, I had some left-over yarn from a crocheting project in a nice matching color and found these adorable sparkly foamy stars in rose gold and taupe at my local dollar tree. This project, that could be a fun kids craft, too, was made for under $3 (the cost of the stars) and is so very versatile: I am torn between leaving them as is and display them in my home, or transform them into Christmas cards, Christmas ornaments or use them to decorate Christmas gifts."
Materials List
- Cardboard (I used an old shoe box in blush)
- yarn
- foamy glitter stars
- cutting mat + sharp knife
- ruler
- hot glue gun
- double-sided tape
NotesI really would love love love to be featured on your wonderful page or social media.

I never thought to use a mix of items like yours to make Christmas trees. It works though, right? I can make a ton of these trees and put them with my little winter village and make them festive for the holidays. I always set up my village, but lately I have wanted to add trees. I think these are perfect for my village.
