Wide natural burlap at least 12 inches wide on a ribbon roll is perfect for this project. I ironed on freezer paper to the back of the red felt and green felt to draw out an outline for the truck and tree to make it easy to hand-cut out the felt. The burlap takes a stencil for wording well.

This is a very different idea. I love gifts that you can customize. This will make a great gift for some of my friends. One just moved into a new home before Christmas and thus will make a Christmas and house warming gift. Thank you for the great idea and inspiration.
