I really love this idea. Our town makes luminaries like this every Christmas season to line Main Street.

I am never just satisfied with what is posted. I am always thinking of a way to make it better. I wonder if decorating the jugs prior to use will they look more that Christmas decor than milk jugs set out?

Wow! I like this outdoor Christmas Decorations idea. I now wish I would have saved all of those gallon milk jugs instead of placing them in the recycle bin. I will have to post this and remember it for next Christmas.

What a great way to recycle and make something fun and easy at the same time. I can see where we could save up that many jugs in a just a month or so because of how large our family is, but we could make such a big impact on the way the yard looks for such a little price. Great idea!

this absolutely very resourceful. I love how it was placed on the porch. The kids will also love these colorful milk bottles. Others may not even notice that these are just recycled bottles.

This is not a comment but a question? Dose the jugs half filled with water have color added ? Or dose the jug have an electric bulb to light the jug.
