Yes! This is such a great tutorial. As a teacher, I have done this activity many times with my students. I usually just put out a bunch of old cards with some extras (construction paper, markers, glitter, etc.) and some sentence starters for ideas. It's great for a seasonal writing centre. It is also a wonderful way to re-use scraps that would have otherwise been junked. The kids really like creating their own letters. It's a very engaging activity to do. I highly recommend!
