I know the instructions say that you can make this in an evening, but how long did it actually take you to create this mat? I would love to make a trio of these to use on my table for holiday casseroles. I need some new trivets, so this is a great way to keep my table safe, and serve up all my favorite hot dishes on a cold winter day during the holidays.
