Why not make a tree you can decorate just as pretty on all sides? A lazy susan table is an excellent idea for a tree stand. I think it will be fun to turn the tree and give people a chance to take a mystery gift at dinner too if you want to do something really crazy.

What a creative idea. It's perfect. It can be easily stored, decorated and taken down. I would paint it white and use it for other holidays. Imagine it decorated for Valentine's Day or Easter! It would be so much fun. My grand daughter would love having one like this. And she will love making it with me.

I think this is a genius idea that would work for many types of dcor or occasions. When my kids were little we had a blast putting up an Easter tree with white garlands, pastel satin rose buds, chick and bunny ornaments, etc. This would be the perfect base for an 'other' holiday tree. I'd also love using this type of foundation for a centerpiece for a special party or celebration. Remember the old money tree used for gifting people with cash? How cute would it be done on a form like this with fresh flowers?

I would never have thought of repurposing a Lazy Susan before but this idea is so great, especially if you're like me and live in an apartment that's too small for a traditional Christmas tree. I love the bright pop of color from the ornaments too!
