Working with crochet thread is a comforting favorite of mine. These are so cute and easy to crochet. I like the Victorian look and the homey memories these bring about. They make me think of my mother and other family members who have crocheted doilies and other pieces over the years. I like the white ones but I think red, green and variegated colors would be pretty on the tree too.

These ornaments are cute and elegant. A great project that I need to work on because we have had so many ornaments broken over the years. These would help fill in some of the vacant areas on our tree. I love handmade ornaments. They would make a present so much sweeter too if you added one as an extra gift.

This is definitely a project that I will be trying as soon as I get the fabric stiffener and some glitter spray. I have a small Christmas tree for my bedroom, and these will look lovely on them. Has anyone used different colored yarn besides the white? I wonder how it would look with different colors and glitter.

I have a terrible time with fabric stiffener, but this is a project that I definitely want to try this year. I would love to have all handmade and vintage ornaments on my tree. I always worry about the glass balls getting broken by my cats while we are sleeping. These would be much safer, and prettier.

I love these Lovely Lace Crochet Ball Ornaments. I remember seeing some like this on my tree as a kid. My mom use to crochet a lot of the vintage things when I was young. I can't wait to crochet a few of these an give them out as Christmas gifts and put some on my tree. The pattern is very well written and easy to follow. I'm looking forward to having these on my own tree this year. Thank you so much for the memories and this free crochet pattern.
