There isn't much more traditional decor for the holidays than holly berries, is there? I adore your stocking idea. I think that you could use this as a recurring theme for a holiday party. You could use it to make napkin rings, a table runner, a wreath, and ornaments. You could just use the stockings and decorate with traditional colors too, but the holly berry throughout the design sounds so fun to me.
