I don't drink much wine, but I have a few friends that do. I can ask them for some of the wine corks, but I think they sell them in the craft stores, don't they? I love this idea. Plus you could use the cork for trivets too for hot dishes when you are hosting a holiday party.

These are always good to do. They are always appreciated too. I made some as place mats and two or three as trivits. I love them. They were inexpensive and so easy to make. I don't drink so I had to rely on family and friends to supply me with them. I glued a small ribbon on the back so I could hang them up in my kitchen.
